Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 (4 lbs) beef sirloin roast
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 cups half and half
- 1/4 cup prepared brown mustard
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 Tbsp ground black pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) package egg noodles
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp fresh chopped flat-leaf parsley
Preparation:
Rub a beef tenderloin roast with olive oil and season with cayenne pepper, salt, and 1/8 tsp pepper. Grill over hot coals for 20 to 30 minutes, turning often.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a skillet and saute chopped onion and crushed garlic cloves until soft. Add half-and-half and cook until thickened. Stir in prepared brown mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/8 tsp pepper.
Meanwhile, prepare noodles according to the package directions; drain and toss with butter and parsley.
Slice beef and serve with mustard sauce on top of noodles.
