Applesauce N' Spice Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350° F. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices. In a large bowl combine, sugar, oil, applesauce, eggs and milk. Stir the dry ingredients into the applesauce mixture; stir in the 1/2 cup pecans. Pour batter into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
