Chicken Cheese Chowder
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Shredded carrot
- 1/4 cup Chopped onion
- 4 Tbsp Butter 1/4 cup Flour
- 2 cup Milk
- 1 3/4 cup Chicken broth
- 1 cup Diced cooked chicken
- 1 Tbsp Dry white wine or vermouth
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp Celery seed
- 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Sauté carrot and onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour, add milk and broth. Cook, stirring, until thick and bubbly. Stir in chicken, wine, Worcestershire, and celery seed; cook until heated through.
