Self-Frosting Anise Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp aniseed
- 3 eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Preparation:
Sift flour, measure and sift again with baking powder. Beat eggs and sugar at medium speed for 30 minutes.
Add flour mixture and beat for 3 minutes. Add aniseed. Drop by tsp on greased and floured cookie sheets. Dry overnight.
Bake at 325° F for 12 minutes.
