Barbecue Beef Short Ribs with Vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 pounds Beef short ribs
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 Large onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Tomato ketchup
  • 1/3 cup Red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dry mustard
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 4 Medium potatoes, peeled
  • 4 Medium carrots; pared, cubed
  • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch, optional
  • 1/4 cup Water

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients at cook on low for 6-8 hours.
