Alaskan Halibut Lasagne
Ingredients:
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 lbs halibut - small chunks
- 2 garlic cloves - minced
- 3/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 8 oz. lasagne noodles - cooked and drained
- 2 cup shredded swiss cheese
- minced parsley
Preparation:
In large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp. butter. Add halibut, galic and thyme. Cook until fish is almost done. Remove and set aside. Add remaining butter to skillet.
Stir in flour and salt until smooth; cook and stir until golden. Gradually add broth and cream. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or till thickened.
In greased 9x13 baking dish, layer noodles, halibut, white sauce and cheese. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350° F or 20 minutes. Uncover, bake 20 minutes longer until bubbly.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
