Almond Pastry
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/4 cup ground almonds
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 to 4 Tbsp ice cold water
Preparation:
Mix flour, almonds, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening. Add egg and cold water. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill. Roll ou Tbsp Place in a 9-inch pan. Prick sides and bottom.
Bake conventionally or in a microwave on HIGH for 5 to 7 minutes. Cool before filling. Print This Page
