Cheese Pastries

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Cornmeal
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp Salt, cayenne
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Sharp cheddar; grated
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese; grated
  • 5 Tbsp Water

Preparation:

In bowl, put first 5 ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add both cheeses and toss. Sprinkle with water and mix into ball.

Roll out on lightly floured surface to 16x5-inch rectangle. Cut in 1/2-inch wide strips crosswise, making 32 strips. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 400° F for 10 mins until golden. Cool on rack. Store in open container to retain crispness./p> Servings: Print This Page
