Cheese Pastry
Ingredients:
- 3 oz Cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 11-1/2 cup All-purpose flour
Preparation:
Combine the cream cheese, butter and salt in a large bowl or in a food processor fitted with the metal blade. Mix or process until smooth.
Add the Parmesan cheese and flour and mix to combine. Gather the dough into a ball, flatten to a disc and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before rolling.
