Buttermilk Rolls
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs, beaten separately
- 1 quart flour
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- lard, size of an egg
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 yeast cake in one Tbsp of warm water
- buttermilk to make soft sponge
Preparation:
When risen light, work out adding 1 tsp of soda for each quart of flour.
Make into thick rolls, thin one on top of another or splits.
